15 Apr Engagement Shoot Laura + David
OK, those wedding bells may still be a distant sound off there in the future but for those couples wanting an engagement shoot, it is never too early enough. As a Norfolk wedding photographer, an engagement shoot is a great way to get to feel what it is like to be the main focus in front of the camera lens.
Couples choose to have one of these types of shoots before their weddings for differing reasons. As mentioned above, to get an idea what it is like to be photographed or wanting to have some images for a “Save the Date” card, framed pictures for the parents or just because you can!
Laura and David are marrying this year, and it was last year that we met for their shoot. As we met we were all concerned that the heavens would be opening up upon us as the skies were black and just had another thunderstorm but as often happens, the skies cleared and we were able to shoot.
Another reason for an engagement shoot before your wedding is to get to know each other better. This works for both parties as I get to know how the couple works together as a couple being photographed. To help them understand some of the relaxed poses to adopt on their big day. The engagement shoot can be great fun, comfortable and enjoyable to the point where we can get some candid moments of two wonderful people, very much in love!
An engagement shoot can be booked as part of your wedding collection or as a stand-alone booking.
As an end result, couples can choose from a number of different options from professionally printed prints through to framed images and gorgeous albums. Please contact me to discuss the options for an engagement shoot which generally take place in Norfolk but I can and do travel further afield!
