13 May Hockering House Wedding Lizzie + Piers
The magic of a Hockering House wedding – Being a wedding photographer based in Norfolk I get to travel all over the country and internationally from time to time. So, when getting a local wedding as was the case in Lizzie and Piers the day took place within the grounds of Hockering House. The house itself is a splendid example of a country house, set in grounds that are basically yours for the day all aimed at making your day truly remarkable.
Hockering House is the home to Oliver and Sam Berney who were themselves actually married at the house. They enjoyed the day so much they wanted to share their event management skills of over 15 years to make your dream day and venue come true at Hockering House. You are indeed in safe hands with the team and their style is warm and friendly and you feel confident from the initial meeting that you are in safe hands.
No matter what style you are looking for, a Hockering House wedding has the vision to exceed your expectations. No matter if your day is an elegant wedding, themed or festival their experience to make your dream day happen is well recognised in one of Norfolk’s best kept secret venue!
If accommodation is a consideration, again look no further as Hockering House can offer the very best of “Glamping” too! If this is not for you then Sam can point you in the direction with a local business that can offer special rates for your wedding guests.
The wedding of: Lizzie + Piers
Date of Wedding: August 8th
The Venue: Hockering House, Norfolk, NR20 3JB
Now, the wedding couple. When we first had contact this was mainly made through email as both in the military both were stationed overseas and we did not meet until we had our wedding consultation at the venue. There were two additional extraordinary guests on the day, their two black labrador dogs. Made even more special as they were retired bomb-disposal dogs, amazing and beautiful animals too.
As you will see, Piers was in his military uniform and it was a very hot August day and one could not help but feel a tad sorry for him sweltering in the heat. The day was as perfect as it could have been. A very relaxed day set in the grounds with an outside wedding ceremony the day could not have gone more smoothly.
