Wedding Photography : Chippenham Park Events
Wedding photography, Chippenham Park. This was not the first wedding I have had the pleasure of photographing at Chippenham Park, Cambridgeshire. Found on the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk border and within a stones throw from Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds. Chippenham Park has been a wedding venue for eight years and each wedding is treated individually and with the highest of wedding planning services. Chippenham Park is a family home and has been for some 250 years!

Bridal Preparation
As a Cambridgeshire Wedding Photographer I do get to cover weddings all over the county, the UK and internationally. Getting an enquiry from Chelsea and Elliott for their wedding at Chippenham Park I knew that their wedding was going to be pretty amazing. Bridal Prep took place at Chelsea’s home in Bury St Edmunds and it was a super start to a awesome day. Bridal prep is a part of the day that I really enjoy. It really helps in building the relationship between the wedding couple and photographer. I encourage a meeting with the couple a couple of months before their wedding which really builds on the relationship.
The wedding ceremony
The wedding ceremony was held at St Edmunds Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. A beautiful, light and bright Cathedral and a delight to work in. There was space too to be upfront and not be in the way too. Photographing the wedding ceremony from upfront certainly enables another dimension to the coverage. A wedding photographers delight and I shall certainly look forward to my next wedding there.
The Couple Shots
Couple shots started at the Cathedral. It would have been rude not to as it offers a number of beautiful and stunning backdrops for a once in a lifetime shots, together and individual wedding portraits. We then travelled on to Chippenham Park for the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and party time! On arrival it was the drinks reception held on the terrace which overlooks the immaculate gardens and grounds. I left Chelsea and Elliott to enjoy some time with their guests before whisking them away for the couple shots within the grounds. Their wedding was held as Autumn began to have its hold on the weather. Luckily we had sunshine and the beautiful Autumn colours as a backdrop. I know that a wedding at Chippenham Park never disappoints. As a wedding photographer in Cambridge the venue has everything and more.
Wedding Breakfast & Party Time
With nothing but praise for the venue, its event management and every detail taken care of I cannot recommend Chippenham Park enough. The beautiful marquee is one of the best I have had the pleasure in working in. The amenities are all top notch and the accommodation is first class too.
