Suffolk Wedding Photography – Zoe & Alex
I live in a sleepy hamlet in Suffolk and love it. I also travel the country and overseas for weddings and commissions. Zoe and Alex’s wedding happens to be in one of the most romantic settings I have worked in. A wedding on the riverbank! Suffolk Wedding Photography holds a great deal of opportunity and this wedding was no exception.
This blog post is about Zoe and Alex’s wedding. Alex hails from the US. Consequently this was a very international wedding affair in a very traditional English setting. The wedding ceremony took place in a beautiful typical village church. The sun was beating down and the day ahead was eagerly looked forward too. The wedding reception took place a stones throw away at Zoe’s parents home. This was a quintessential countryside wedding. Even more beautiful and even more romantic was that the reception was held on the riverbank and an island in the river.
This story gets even better as Alex and Zoe wanted a”First Look” at the church before they tied the knot in marriage. We arranged that before the wedding ceremony took place, all the guests were seated in the church and Alex and Zoe would meet outside first before the ceremony. This was a special moment. Not the first time I have photographed such but nevertheless a special moment.
The day went incredibly well and this was very much to do with two exceptional wedding planners Caroline and Victoria from The Wedding Planners! There was no detail overlooked and the logistics of location and attention to detail was spot on right throughout the day. The flower styling by Myrtle and Mint created a “fresh from the meadow” flower theme.
