2020 was a difficult year for us all. Planning a wedding was near impossible with so much uncertainty but with some steely determination Jenny and David made their dream day happen. OK, the numbers changed and the plans adapted but the day happened and my what a day it was! Jenny and David’s wedding was held back in September 2020 and it was an incredibly touching, loving, intimate occasion.
Jenny was born and raised in South Africa and with David’s love for the country too there was certainly a theme for South Africa throughout the day. The setting was just perfect and it very much reminded me of my visit to Namibia. I love September weddings. The light less harsh than the mid Summer months, leaves on the trees preparing for the Autumn ahead all makes for capturing such a beautiful day. Jenny and David’s wedding was one of a very, very small handful photographed in 2020 and my what a beautiful day it was. The limited guests, close friends and family were just amazing. Taking the guys away for some couple shots in the woodlands was simply great fun. A mixture of posed and unposed photographs resulted in some super shots that they love and will cherish in the years ahead.
The wedding was held at the Hush Venues in Norfolk. Such a beautiful setting for one of the most important days of your life, your wedding.
As a Norfolk wedding photographer I get to travel around the country and internationally. However, when photographing a wedding locally it does mean to get to sleep in my own bed.
I hope you enjoy viewing the images as much as I did to produce them. Such a gorgeous day, thank you Jenny & David
