It was fantastic to be back at Leeds Castle for the wedding reception for Nusha & Rafael. They were married earlier that day in an intimate ceremony and I met them both on the island at the castle entrance. I have been Kent wedding photographer for over 12 years and each and every wedding is different. With this wedding coverage we went straight into the couple shots whilst we waited for the guests to arrive.
With a wedding shoot at Leeds Castle one is spoilt for locations for the couple shots. Some of the considerations one has to make on the day is, how much time do we have for the couple shots? What is the weather doing and how will this impact on the photography? Should we shoot in the grounds or in the castle? As the grounds and castle are open to the public consideration has to be given to the timings and where to shoot without Joe Public getting in the way. All this said Leeds Castle is a venue that never stops giving!
As you will see from the photographs, we had a truly wonderful summers day and aided with a golf buggy we made the most of the grounds. Spoilt for choice – of course, it’s wedding photography at Leeds Castle. After our trip around the grounds it was time for some couple portraits in the historic castle itself. Never a moment of disappointment and after the couple shots it was time for the groups, candid and then time for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
Thank you both for a truly beautiful day!
